Government and others have stated there are options in managing old-growth forests beyond a simple yes or no proposition. Innovative solutions are presented by our panel members.  

The forest industry has a bright future in tackling society’s expectations for tackling climate change and sustainability. There is a need to bring clarity to the science of carbon while looking at the opportunity and need to invigorate the sector with new ideas, diverse strategies, and innovation.
