Melinda Morben's career in forestry started when she was 18 years old, logging in the Interior of BC where she ran a processor. After her years logging, Melinda attained her Forest Resource Technology Diploma, Forest Resource Management Degree and her Registered Professional Forester designation.

In 2021, Melinda was named one of the recipients of Canadian Forest Industries Top 10 under 40. Melinda is the Senior Manager of Logistics at Mosaic Forest Management on Vancouver Island, and has held various positions throughout her over 12 year tenure there. In her current role, she leads a talented team who focus on the land-based supply chain activities for the company by way of fleet management and centralized dispatch log hauling operations, management of numerous dry land sorting facilities, export terminals and vessel loading operations.

Mosaic is focused on leading technology and supply chain efficiency, and Melinda champions the progressive and continuous development of projects, exploratory learning and is skilled and experienced in implementing and operationalizing technological change in industrial operations. She is dedicated to the wellbeing of all industry workers and focuses on listening and learning to what industry needs to make change, adapt, and successfully navigate the future of forestry.
