Shannon Janzen is a Registered Professional Forester and former VP Partnerships and Chief Forester at Western Forest Products. Shannon believes in the power of partnerships and has led innovative agreements that include Indigenous equity ownership and Indigenous-led Integrated Resource Management Planning. Looking ahead, Shannon will continue to pursue her personal mission of making business sense out of doing the right thing for people and the planet. She believes business has a real and meaningful role in reconciliation with Indigenous communities and that everyone will be stronger by finding a common path they can walk together.
