Welcome to the 2023 FCSSAA Conference

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Family and Community Support Services Association of Alberta it is my pleasure to welcome you to our 2023 conference “Creating Connections Building Bridges”. We are excited to gather to share, connect and learn together.

FCSS continues to be at the forefront of supporting individuals, families, and communities in Alberta by providing preventive programming. Thank you! We are pleased with the Province of Alberta’s continual support with this Provincial-Municipal partnership.

The conference theme “Creating Connections Building Bridges” reflects the creation of the vital connections between us that help us build bridges over common issues. These bridges make challenges easier to overcome, allowing us to support and improve the well-being of those in our communities.

Many of the sessions at the conference this year are presented in a panel or sharing format. Sessions at the conference will explore topics such as brilliant boards, employee wellness, volunteerism, exploring the man code, and a program sharing market. We look forward to celebrating FCSS stories throughout the conference.

We look forward to seeing everyone for an amazing opportunity to learn and re-connect. Once again the Association is pleased to provide subsidies to smaller FCSS programs to ensure all programs have access to the conference.

Thank you to the organizing region, West Central and the team that has put the conference together. On behalf of the FCSSAA Board of Directors I wish you an enjoyable, educational, and stimulating conference.
