Join us for a behind the scenes building tour of the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, this year’s BLC conference venue! A member of the engineering team will lead attendees in the features and functions that led to the space’s LEED Gold certification.

The tour will touch on on-site water conservation efforts, conscious material selection and energy reductions.

Tours will run for 30 minutes. Space is limited and pre-registration will be required.

The Stack 

Join us for a behind the scenes look at The Stack, Canada’s first commercial high-rise office tower to be awarded the CAGBC’s Zero Carbon Building – Design Standard certification.

This building features lush outdoor terraces throughout, a landscaped pocket park, and intelligent integration with the city. It is currently pursuing LEED v4 Core & Shell Platinum.

Bentall Centre 

Last year’s winner for CAGBC’s Existing Building award, Bentall Centre is Powered 100% by renewable electricity and carbon neutral across all operations and consists of four LEED Platinum towers totalling 1.5 million sf of commercial and retail space. 

Now is your chance to see featured aspects of this inspirational project firsthand. In a series of 40-minute tours, conference attendees can see how Bentall Centre’s property management and engineering teams successfully increased energy efficiency, optimized occupant health and safety, and reduced water consumption, while effectively engaging tenants and the community to benefit from the Bentall Center’s sustainability efforts.
