Pre-Event

After the conference, session recordings will be edited and made available to registrants on the Building Lasting Change main web page. Please note this excludes the six forums taking place on June 5th which will not be recorded.

An editing period of around 1 month is expected, and when uploaded and available for viewing, all conference registrants will receive an email informing them recordings are available to view, and detailed instructions on how to access the recordings through the web page.

Recordings will be available through the 2024 calendar year.

All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to conferenceinfo@cagbc.org.

Full refunds will be granted to requests received on or before 35 days prior to the first day of the event. Partial refunds (50%) will be granted to requests received between 34 days and 28 days prior to the first day of the event. Please note, a $150 administration fee may be applied.

No refunds will be available for cancellation requests received less than 28 days prior to the first day of the event.

All purchased tickets are fully transferable to another person within your organization by emailing conferenceinfo@cagbc.org.

CAGBC reserves the right in its sole discretion to reschedule, move, cancel or limit access to the event, any conference session or other portion thereof. CAGBC also reserves the right, without refund, to cancel a registration or remove an attendee or guest in advance of, or during the conference, should the registrant, attendee or guest violate any CAGBC policy or code of conduct or engage in any activity that CAGBC, in its sole discretion, finds objectionable or not in the spirit of the conference.

During & Post Event

On Wednesday, June 5th there will be three breakout forums conference attendees can participate in, and on Thursday June 6th will have two consecutive streams- our business stream and our technical stream. Attendees can either stick to the stream that interests them most or mix and match sessions from both streams.
Check out the Agenda tab on this website for more details.

You will need to self-report any GCBI hours in accordance with instructions detailed in the Credential Maintenace Program (CMP) guide, found here: Credential Maintenance Program Guide | Updated November 2023 (usgbc.org)

We have a designated page for ‘Travel & Accommodation’ and ‘Location’ on the BLC website, under the ‘About’ drop down menu. It includes event address, methods of travel, and other useful information!

If you plan to drive, it will your responsibility to find appropriate parking. There is no event parking, and parking is not included as part of conference tickets. If you are staying at the hotel, please speak with hotel reception for hotel parking.

Throughout both days, the registration desk will be open and available in the conference foyer. There will be three lanes with designated labelling; one lane will be for speakers only, the two lanes are for all other ticket holders and will be split based alphabetically (first half, last half). Based on the first letter of your first name, please choose the corresponding lane to pick up your ticket!

Arrive with enough time before your first event of the day so that you’re able to register and collect your pass before the session starts. We recommend 15 minutes, but this can be dependent on busyness and timings, so please use your best judgement.

If you haven’t already, download the BLC mobile app - it has a wealth of information relating to the day and could have what you’re looking for!
On the day there will be a fantastic team of volunteers and CaGBC staff (identifiable by shirts or badges) who will be helping to register, running the conference, and be on hand should you have any further questions or need any help.

Don’t worry! Head over to the registration desk and we can help you from there. We will need to re-check you in and then we’ll be able to give you a new pass.
