Wendy Plandowski is a passionate advocate for volunteerism and community development.

With over 30 years of leadership experience, Wendy’s career has encompassed roles in post-secondary education, health philanthropy, business technology, and innovation. As the former CEO of the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation, she spearheaded Project Sunrise, an initiative that introduced groundbreaking mental health fundraising efforts to the region—an area close to her heart due to personal experiences highlighting the need for expanded community support.
A breast cancer survivor since her diagnosis in 2012, Wendy is dedicated to giving back to those who supported her during her journey. She currently serves as Chair of the Patient Advisory Council for Cancer Care Alberta, using her experience to advocate for patient-centered care.

Beyond her nonprofit work, Wendy is an active partner in Agri-Energy Partners, supporting landowners across Western Canada, and leads her own consulting practice, specializing in strategic planning, workshop facilitation, and organizational support nationwide.
Her unwavering enthusiasm for community-driven initiatives and her ability to foster meaningful change continue to make a lasting impact.
