Ross Simmonds

Ross Simmonds is the founder of Foundation and is a marketer passionate about all things tech. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing, Ross is an entrepreneur who consistently strives to give back. He sits on the board of directors for Volta Labs, Black Business Initiative and Boys & Girls Club of Preston, as well as the board of trustees for Phoenix Youth Programs. 

Over the last 10 years, Ross has worked closely with a wide range of brands across the globe ranging from Fortune 500 companies to up-and-coming startups. He’s been published in Forbes, Huffington Post, Business Insider, Venture Beat, BET, CBC, Social Media Examiner and more. Ross is known for his work in growth marketing, Slideshare, Instagram and digital marketing as a whole. He was named in Mashable as one of the top Snapchat marketers in the world, and he has shared his thoughts on marketing and tech around the globe at conferences and events, such as SearchLove, CTAConf, MozCon and more.

Ross is all-in with whatever he is working on. His dedication to continual learning and inspiring the team is hard to match (although he would never point it out himself).

Adam Feldman
Principal, Risk Management and Technology, The AML Shop

Adam Feldman leads The AML Shop's risk management and technology divisions and will be joining as Principal, Risk Management and Technology. As a former process engineer, Adam has a passion and talent for understanding, quantifying, and implementing efficient mitigation systems and processes across multiple industries and jurisdictions.

Adam helps The AML Shop’s clients right size and optimize their compliance systems, processes and staffing, leveraging a toolbox of technology solutions. Those engagements are often designed as a response to regulatory examination findings or companies experiencing significant growth or change.

Adam is recognized as a specialist in the real estate and professional services sector. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and has additionally obtained a certification in risk management from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.

Dong Lee
CEO, Axiom Innovations

Dong 's been in the Financial Services/Mortgage Broker industry for the past 27 years. Over that time, he's held numerous senior executive roles and responsibilities with TD, CMHC and Scotia.

For over 15 years, Dong served as the Vice President of Operations and President for Mortgage Architects as well as the Broker of Record in most provinces across Canada. Dong was then promoted to Chief Operating Officer for the DLC Group of Companies.

Dong is also actively involved in the industry providing advice to the Provincial Regulators, serving on numerous committees like fraud and the Technical Advisory Committee for FSRA. Dong also was a Director for Mortgage Professionals Canada for 5 years and served as its 26th Chair in 2021.

Most Recently Dong has accepted a role as the Chief Executive Officer for Axiom Innovations – the Scarlett Network.
