Mark Hutchinson is a sustainability professional with 19 years of experience, including 12 years leading the development of green building rating systems and the delivery of certification programs. He has represented Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) in Canada and helped shape rating system requirements, including serving as a member and chair of the US Green Building Council’s LEED Steering Committee. Mark has led significant research into the green building field and directed development of the Zero Carbon Building Standard, a first-of-its-kind, made-in-Canada framework for decarbonization of the building sector. His change-management has helped the Canada Green Building Council meet increasing demand for certification services while ensuring the quality of thousands of building certifications
