For Canada to achieve its 2030 and 2050 climate targets, building owners and operators will need to upgrade, retrofit, and ultimately decarbonize hundreds of millions of square meters of existing building stock. However, the current pace of transition planning is not tracking to these targets. This session will provide an update on how CAGBC and key partners are engaging with building owners and other decision makers to accelerate their efforts to decarbonize their portfolios.
A facilitated discussion with audience members will offer an opportunity for participants to share ideas, challenges, and best practices as we collectively advance our industry towards Canada’s climate goals.
