Soheila Homayed is the Program Manager for the Rural Immigration Initiative at RDN, specializing in supporting rural communities that welcome immigrants and foreign workers. Certified in Intercultural Competency Training, Soheila has extensive experience delivering workshops for employers, communities, and organizations, helping them integrate newcomers effectively.

As a seasoned settlement worker, she brings firsthand experience working with immigrants, ensuring a deep understanding of the unique challenges newcomers face in rural areas. Soheila holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa, with a minor in Social Sciences of Health, and has completed a certificate in Immigration Policies from Memorial University.
