Serving on a Board can be an incredible learning experience and a chance to contribute to something important.  Or it can be Hell on Earth.

Bob Wyatt takes a (somewhat) lighthearted look at the roles of Board members, and the pitfalls that can await – along with suggested remedies for the most common problems he sees in working with nonprofit organizations.

There will be lots of time for questions and discussion.  To encourage frank discussion, the session will operate under the Chatham House Rule, meaning you can discuss what happened, but cannot attribute specific remarks to a person or organization.
