This workshop aims to equip FCSS Directors and staff with practical tools and methodologies for program evaluation and measuring community impact. The workshop will blend informative content with real-world case studies to ensure a dynamic learning experience. A Q&A period and interactive participation throughout will ensure that the needs of the audience are met.
The workshop will start with “Evaluation 101”, providing participants with a clear understanding of evaluation and the importance of assessing program effectiveness. Practical tools and templates for creating an effective program evaluation will be shared. This foundational segment will cover essential data collection methods and guide the audience through the entire process of evaluation, from design, data collection to impactful reporting.
We will then segue into understanding Community Impact and how it can be measured using evaluation methods. Tailored specifically to the needs of FCSS Directors and program staff, this section will apply our knowledge of FCSS programs to use real programs as an example to guide participants in the process of drafting an evaluation plan that measure their program’s community impact .
