Jonathan Mandolo is an offsite PHD student at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) under virology and Infection and Immunity research groups at Malawi Liverpool welcome trust which he joined in June 2015. He is interested in developing/validating multiplexing serology technique which can be used to understand sero prevalence of different pathogens of public health interest. He would like to use his serological and Bioinformatics techniques to do this. Jonathan holds Master of Science in Bioinformatic and Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory sciences (honours) obtained at the university of Malawi in 2014 and 2021, respectively. His long-term plan is to become research leader focusing on global health challenges, to inform policy.
