Marc is a postdoctoral scientist in the Orbivirus Research group, at the Pirbright Institute, UK. His research interests lie on the molecular and structural biology of bluetongue virus (BTV). His aim is to identify virus factors that drive BTV’s broad cell tropism, virulence and transmissibility, in an attempt to get a clearer understanding of the observed variation of clinical severity caused by different BTV strains and across different host species.
