Kevin graduated from UBC in 1991 with a BSc in Forest Resources Management and is a Registered Professional Forester.
Kevin has worked in various locations up and down Vancouver Island and the Coast of British Columbia. He began his career in Forestry, Planning and Operational Supervision and has managed several Timberlands locations from 2002 through 2014. He transitioned to the manufacturing side of the industry in 2015 where he managed five different sawmills and secondary processing facilities on Vancouver Island.
Kevin’s broad skillset in forestry and manufacturing is well suited for San’s expanding operations. As Vice President of Operations on Vancouver Island, his responsibilities range from fibre supply, to sawmilling, value-added manufacturing and distribution of finished wood products.
Kevin’s background, skillset and leadership is being put to good use as San navigates through the commissioning phases of their new facilities with a goal of creating the social and financial framework required for success in today’s forest industry.
