It’s not a matter of if a community will be impacted by a tragedy or trauma, it’s a matter of when. Our community has intentionally pivoted away from flying by the seat of our pants to an approach that allows us to respond to tragedy and trauma in a grounded and structured way. This session will explore an innovative protocol that focuses on how community comes together in difficult times to prevent and respond to instances of trauma, violence and suicide. It will discuss practical and achievable steps to reduce silos, increase community collaboration and support safety and well-being.
