Elder Bert Auger, with his colleague Sangeeta Sicking, will lead us on a path of Reconciliation. Together, we will learn about the diversity of Indigenous systems and communities in Alberta, the meaning of the land, why land acknowledgements are so important, and why they must reflect the culture of each community. We will also understand the importance and place of protocols. We will gain valuable insights on how to build stronger relationships with Indigenous Peoples in Canada and move forward in Reconciliation.
