Heather Dixon is an experienced and dedicated professional, serving as the Lead Community Facilitator for the Town of Olds. With 14 years of municipal experience in Social Development, she has developed a deep understanding of community dynamics and the importance of fostering social connections.
Heather’s passion lies in creating caring and connected environments, not only in her community but also her workplace. She believes that when people feel supported and connected, they thrive. As a strong leader, Heather utilizes her skills to bring people together and coordinate successful events and programs that promote community engagement and well-being.
On a personal level, Heather is married, has three grown children and two grandchildren who bring joy and happiness to her everyday. Heather is also an animal lover and recently added a fourth dog to the Dixon Family Zoo, a golden retriever named Howard, providing companionship, laughter, and even more love.
