This session will focus on "why" people volunteer and how that knowledge helps in both retention and recruitment strategies. We will also explore ways of tapping into recruiting under-represented segments of community including youth, families and newcomers to Canada. The session will wrap up with a small group activity to utilize the session material in a practical example.
