Ken Carrusca works with the Cement Association of Canada (CAC). He has worked at the Ministry of Environment, Metro Vancouver, and in consulting
His attention at CAC has been on climate policy and carbon pricing, the transition from fossil fuels, and greater adoption of lower carbon intensity cement and concrete materials. The CAC is working closely with the concrete industry and has recently released Concrete Zero – an industry Net-Zero Concrete action plan.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Ken studied chemistry and engineering at UBC and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is passionate about hockey and is a volunteer member of the Board of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon. He and his partner live in Vancouver with their two sons.
