Ms. Svendsen has been working with energy efficiency in buildings for more than 25 years. she hold a master of Science in Energy efficiency in buildings and has been working for both municipalities and consulting engineering offices in Denmark and abroad. She has worked with energy optimization of buildings and technical systems and has carried out a large amount of energy audits in buildings. She is a certified BREEAM and DGNB consultant and has worked on the development of energy management strategies and sustainability analysis for many clients. She is working with the Danish Energy Agency as a special adviser on energy efficiency in buildings where she is giving advice to governments on EE in buildings in a number of partner countries (Canada, California, UK, Germany and Indonesia) on the green transition especially in the building sector.
