Tanja oversees, drives, and evolves environmental sustainability at Grosvenor and works to enhance the firm’s existing focus on delivering social benefit in North America. She is leading the Company in its pursuit of achieving the World Green Building Council’s (WGBC) 2030 Net Zero Carbon Building Commitment and beyond. Additionally, Tanja runs Grosvenor’s GRESB reporting in North America and steers its employee-led Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee.
Tanja joined Grosvenor in 2013, holding various positions on the real estate development team, and was promoted to Associate Vice President in 2022. She is an active member of the real estate community, holding memberships with Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Urban Development Institute (UDI), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Canada Green Building Council, US Green Building Council, and the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). She is also a participant in ULI’s Greenprint Performance Committee and REALPAC’s ESG Committee.
Tanja studied Urban Land Economics at Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Dialogue and Civic Engagement at Simon Fraser University, and Business Sustainability Management at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge.
