During more than a decade of experience in infrastructure investment and development, Daniel has led diverse projects with federal, provincial, municipal, and private sector partners — in equity investment, project finance, public-private partnerships, asset management, contract negotiation, engineering design, on-site construction, and project and risk management. Daniel has successfully screened and identified important project opportunities and managed cross-disciplinary project teams for major energy, transportation, social, and industrial projects, including retrofits.

Prior to the Canada Infrastructure Bank launching its Building Retrofit Initiative, Daniel was already working with the CIB to evaluate Green Infrastructure opportunities that accelerate the decarbonization of buildings. Daniel has since worked with major developers, residential, commercial and industrial clients to evaluate their capital plans and develop financial and operating solutions for decarbonizing their buildings, with a strong focus on sustainability, lowering net costs and payback period from energy and other savings.
