Etienne Gravel's commitment to sustainability and innovation in construction is unparalleled. With a solid academic foundation in civil engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, Etienne’s commitment to advancing sustainable design and circular economy led him to pursue studies in building technology at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Starting at Pomerleau in 2016, he has gained on-site experience as project manager, has evolved as a strategic initiatives manager and then operations chief of staff. He now leads the Sustainable Construction team, part of the broader Environment and Sustainability team. Composed of 8 passionate individuals, the team aspires to respond to the growing demand for sustainable certifications like LEED, Passive House, Carbon Zero, and Envision. They also seek to operationalize the company's ESG strategy through concrete actions on projects and at the corporate level, all while developing expertise in sustainable construction materials and methods to support Pomerleau's teams across the country.
