Guillaume Martel is an architect partner and LEED Fellow at Provencher_Roy Architectes in Montreal. Over the last 15 years, he worked on more than 100 sustainable projects in various certification systems, establishing and implementing sustainability goals, coordinating architectural and engineering strategies throught the design, construction and operation phases of numerous majors projects.
He's been actively involved on different committees with the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) since 2010. He was awarded the Ed Lim - Technical Leadership Award by the CaGBC. He is a member of the LEED Canada Steering Committee, past chair of the Material and Ressources Technical Advisory Group (TAG), and currently chairs the Embodied Carbon TAG.
