Tayber is the president of Sustainable Projects Group, a design-build energy efficiency firm with the goal of reducing GHG emissions in the built environment. In his work at SPG, Tayber has overseen over 3,500 energy audits and the management and installation of deep energy retrofit projects. Tayber has a Masters of Engineering in Clean Energy Engineering and holds a CEM and EP designation. He has been recognized as one of Canada’s Clean50 and was awarded a Director’s Inspirational Award from the Alberta Provincial government. Tayber presents to universities, boards, and energy managers on effective strategies for implementing energy efficiency into operations. Tayber has been an active proponent in promoting energy efficiency across Canada; he is the president of the Association of Energy Engineers Vancouver Chapter and holds a seat on the board of the Alberta Chapter.
