Dave Mitchell, FCPA, FCA, ICD.D, is a Partner in MNP’s Assurance Group. He previously was the Regional Managing Partner of MNP’s Practice in the Lower Mainland and was a member of the MNP Board of Directors. Dave is a seasoned strategist, planner and executive leader having held executive leadership roles for the past 25 years, this combined with his extensive accounting, tax and advisory experience enables him to bring a wealth of knowledge to the projects he is involved in. He works collaboratively to help his clients and colleagues maximize their results and achieve their goals.

Dave has experience with a wide range of organizations and industries including, Automotive, Distribution, Health, Manufacturing, First Nations and other Indigenous Businesses and organizations. Dave’s experience includes working with private companies, family enterprises and not-for-profit organizations helping clients achieve maximum value from their organizations. His personalized approach and his unique ability to see many sides of a particular issue gives him the ability to make decisions that are thoughtful and consistent with the overall objectives being sought.

Dave was designated a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) in 1988 and awarded a Fellowship designation (CPA, FCA) in 2012 in recognition of distinguished leadership and outstanding commitment to his profession and community. An active volunteer, Dave has served on numerous Boards and committees, including past Chair of the Fraser Health Authority, Chair of the Peninsula Community Foundation and Board Member of Surrey Hospital Foundation, South Surrey Rotary and many others. Dave is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) and is involved in assisting groups with governance and other related matters including structuring and board processes.
