The Cowichan Women's Health Collective exists to promote the health and wellness of self-identified women, girls, and families in the Cowichan Valley. Established in 2019, CWHC has undertaken a series of participatory research projects that demonstrate that gendered healthcare services are needed in the region. These research reports are available on the CWHC website: https://www.cowichanwomenshealth.org/. CWHC is working towards the creation of a woman-focused gendered healthcare centre, including a clinic, in the Cowichan region.
