Valerie Lai is the Program Manager for Outreach, Family and Children’s Programs at Pacific Immigrant Resources Society (PIRS). Valerie works with her team of Outreach Support Workers to make sure the programs support the needs of newcomer women. She has coordinated multiple research projects at PIRS to amplify the voices of immigrant and refugee women on issues that affect their lives. Valerie is also a certified Early Childhood Educator and loves working with families with young children to help them thrive in Canada.
