Steven Hofer joined Western Forest Products in September 2022 as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Drawn to the Company’s commitment to sustainability and reconciliation, Steven is excited by the opportunity to lead Western during an important evolution in the Company’s business, one focused on partnership and collaboration. Steven has over 30 years’ experience in the forest products industry, including executive sales and marketing, business development and operations roles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Asian Studies from the University of Victoria and the Advanced Management Program from the University of Chicago.
